sony wf-1000xm5 case battery drain

The SONY WF-1000XM5 has good sound quality and noise canceling features, but we do not recommend it on that basis alone.

The case battery runs out unusually fast for this product compared to competitors' products in the same price range.

I don't know if the case is supplying the battery to the earphones themselves or if it is discharging naturally, but I was surprised to find that the case battery was consuming 8-12 % of the battery in one day even without using the earphones.

Furthermore, as the battery in the case runs low, the battery power in the main body of the earphones runs low even when the earphones are not in use.

I tried upgrading to version 3.0.1, but there was no improvement.

At first I thought it was an initial defect, but after researching, I found that there are more than a certain number of users having battery case issues, and reports of battery issues are beginning to surface.

There have been some reports of Sony firmware issues and some reports of improvements due to the fact that they stopped using Bluetooth multipoint.

I hope this product is not a high end model, but with other initial Bluetooth sound skipping issues, I am very doubtful about the quality control.
